Planet has collected numerous of these heartwarming ‘love stories’, and with February being the month of Valentine’s Day, we thought it would be fitting to share a couple of them.
The Cartwrights and Morleys were immediately captivated by their new living spaces from the moment they first experienced them. These are the genuine stories of how these Planet extensions reignited a love affair with their homes.
Craving a new dining set up
After eight years in their home, the Cartwrights began feeling cramped indoors. They did not want to relocate, so they decided to expand their property.
While they adored their current kitchen-diner, they desired an extra dining space with an outdoor feel – bright, airy, reminiscent of al fresco dining.
Seeking inspiration, they visited our showroom and discovered a glass roof conservatory that matched their criteria for size and customisation options.

The Morleys’ future plans influenced their choice of house. When expecting a new baby, they sought properties with potential for extension. Shortly after moving in, they decided to expand their new home.
Their vision included creating an open-plan lounge/living/kitchen area, perfect for cooking, entertaining, and providing ample space for their little one to play.
They reached out to Planet for assistance, and we scheduled a visit to assess the location for the orangery. During our meeting, we encouraged the Morleys to visit our showroom, and they were pleased they followed our advice.

It captures ample natural light, creating a bright ambiance without being uncomfortably warm. It’s also a great spot to keep an eye on our son when he’s in the garden.”
