SURVEYING
An accurate installation all starts with a thorough survey. One of our surveyors will visit your home, check that all structural openings are in good condition and record accurate measurements for manufacture.
As well as this, they’ll discuss the designs with you and ensure that the proposed plans are suitable for your property.
CARE & ATTENTION
To protect your home from mess and potential damage during the removal and fitting of your windows, our installation teams will clear all working areas and lay dust sheets through your house.
Once the work is done, they’ll clean up and move all your possessions and valuables back to where they were.
FITTING
Your existing frames will be removed and, where possible, recycles. All the old sealants will be cleared and disposed of and the areas cleaned of muck and debris.
With the opening prepped, your new frames will be carefully put into position, ready for the next stage of the installation.
GLAZING
Next, your glazed units will be fitted and secured into place. Beading will be added, along with any trims.
Your frames and glass units will be thoroughly cleaned before a layer of sealant is applied.
EXPERT FINISH
To finish, your Planet installers will give everything a final, thoroughly clean to leave your windows spotless. Then, a layer of waterproof silicone will be applied between the frame and brickwork to ensure a water-tight finish.
