SURVEYING
One of our surveyors will visit your home and inspect the property. They’ll record all the necessary dimensions and ensure that the proposed plans are suitable. If changes are required for any reason, these will be discussed with you at this stage.
The surveyor will also gather all the information required to make a planning application if one is required.
PLANNING & BUILDING REGS
The Planet surveyor will draw up the relevant plans and submit them, along with the paperwork, to your local council.
Timescales for approval can vary, but you should allow 6-8 weeks for NCS approval and around 8-10 weeks for Full Householder Planning Permission.
SCHEDULE OF WORKS
We’ll then compile a schedule of work and coordinate all the building and fitting teams on your behalf.
Should we need access to power or water supplies, we’ll discuss this with you and confirm in advance of the work commencing.
BUILDING & INSTALLATION
Your Planet-appointed teams will begin the building works, before adding your frames and/or roof.
We’ll manage everything for you from the outset, so you can relax in the knowledge that Cumbria’s finest are taking care of your project – from start to finish.
FINISHING
Once your project has been fully installed, we’ll conduct a final site visit to ensure that you’re happy with the work and any snagging has been rectified.
Then, with everything signed off, you can enjoy your brand-new living space!
