In this day and age, with the state of the economy, home owners are looking at home improvement more than ever.
Why though?

This means that instead of looking at trying to sell, home owners are looking to improve what they have – either for themselves to use, or to improve their home so they can then manage to sell at a decent price.
At Planet South Lakes, despite the recession, sales are doing well. We still get regular leads and take every care to meet the wants and needs of every customer individually.
There was an article in the Telegraph newspaper not long ago, discussing this subject. The article states “Homeowners are spending an average of around £5,300 on improving their homes rather than risk exposing themselves to the…

Dear Sir/Madam,
I’m writing on behalf of me and my wife, as we recently purchased a Conservatory. The installers have been around this week, making sure it’s fitted exactly how we want. We are very pleased with the fitters, as they did a very good job and listened to everything we wanted the conservatory to look like.
We decided that we wanted uPVC Windows, as we’d been recommended them by our next door neighbours, they look really nice and are very secure.
My wife suggested that we get had Composite Doors installed, I don’t really know about them, but they work really well and it’s very nice to be able to open the front of the Conservatory fully.
The fitters were also very good at cleaning their mess. We expected some mess, but they were very good at cleaning it as they went. So can you please thank them for…

In england the porch began to be used through churches in medieval times. Back in those days the Porches tended to be built from stone, or sometimes timber, and placed on the southern side of the building – as well as other sides. These porches were mainly built to provide cover for people at the church.
As time went on the churches began to have two stories, with a room above the entrance porch which was used as a storeroom, library, or another similar room such as an armory. Sometimes the church custodian lived in the upper storey and a window would be installed for supervision of the interior. Most churches left from this era still have these porches, both internally and externally.
Coming back to the present, porches are highly customisable, with different roof shapes, colours and Planet South Lakes will even match your brick pattern so that…
